Description: The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a national referral program for individuals with peripheral nerve injuries, offers a one-year fellowship. The fellowship includes exposure to all aspects of peripheral nerve surgery including microsurgery with an extensive clinical experience. Opportunity is available in active peripheral nerve laboratories for the fellow to participate in experimental research. Each fellow is expected to demonstrate sound judgement and technical proficiency in the diagnosis, treatment and management of nerve injuries. The program is continuously evaluated and updated to provide cutting-edge training that prepares residents and fellows to be leaders in the specialties of plastic and reconstructive surgery and hand surgery.
Stipend: To be negotiated
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery and licensed to practice in the State of Missouri.
